ARS Foundation presents in Barcelona a retrospective dedicated to Keith Haring, with a particular focus on his connection to the city. In 1989, the artist created the iconic mural Todos juntos podemos parar el SIDA in the Raval district, a work of strong social impact that reflected his activism and engagement with the community at a time marked by the HIV crisis. This exhibition revisits that key moment, placing his time in Barcelona within the context of his international career and highlighting the lasting imprint he left on the city’s urban and cultural landscape. Through this perspective, the show underscores how his direct and universal visual language found a particularly meaningful resonance in Barcelona.
